Following the paper quality fiasco that touched Hobonichi's 2025 planners, I decided to give Kokuyo Jibun Techo products a try. What a bright move! The paper is thin but I have had no bleed through.
The B6 slim size is big enough for my daily diary entries. I was frustrated that Hobonichi Techo a6 page loses 2+ centimeters (almost one sixth of the page!) with their bottom page quote, a5 size feels too big and intimidating to fill up everyday and I don't want to let many empty pages in an expensive planner. B6 slim (the "mini") is only a little over one centimeter narrower than B6 and you don't have to worry about finding a cover in that weird size since the planner comes with a thick non shiny plastic cover that contains a pen loop and pockets! Taste in planners is a very personal thing and all planners do not suit all purposes but this Techo Diary is flexible enough with a daily layout pretty similar to the Hobonichi Cousin. I was skeptical at first about the vertical middle timeline but if I have a lot to write and no appointment or to do list on that day, I just ignore the timeline and write my diary entry on two columns, using the timeline as a divider.
In conclusion, this diary fits my needs and Kokuyo didn't bring me disappointment as Hobonichi did this year, quite the opposite! Actually the quality price relationship is better since you get good paper and a cover :-)

High quality product, 48 index tabs altogether. I changed my mind one week after positioning them in my Jibun Techo Diary and was able to remove them without tearing any page. I positioned them differently and they stick as if they had never been moved! They also fold very easily unlike other tabs I have used in the past because of micro perforations on the place where you fold them. I got the rainbow color version and although it doesn't match the months colors in my Techo, it doesn't bother me, they are cute and perfect. At this price, it is a no brainer if you want clean looking high quality small index tabs.

It is everything as promess, I just loved it and its is my new bag to go for everyday on the go.

It could be better the finish of the inside the latch side it’s a little bit rough from the machining.
With that price you expect the perfect.
